1700s Veduta di Campo Vaccino by Giovanni Battista Piranesi - Paper stamp?

I found this today & thought it was a 1700s etching of Veduta di Campo Vaccino by Giovanni Battista Piranesi - But after I took photos of it I noticed a paper stamp/watermark in the bottom right corner that looks like it has 1998(?) on he bottom of it?
The print has the edge around it where a plate was pressed into the paper, nut the stamp doesn't match?
Is this real or is it newer, like a museum souvenir?

Is it an embossing? Could it be 1898?
If it's newer I'm going to give it away because of condition

Your last photo shows a seal that is pressed into the print, that is a blind embossing. It is possible that the rim around the entire print is also placed there for effect (I do not know). Can you read the words in the embossed seal? that will certainly help you to understand what you have.
