Signature on Neodymium Polka Dot Glass Mushroon

This glass mushroom is about 3 inches tall. I know it's a long shot, but does anyone recognize the signature?
I've google image searched, and done various ebay and worthpoint searches for polka dot glass mushroom, neodymium glass mushroom and not found it. Saw similar viking and blenko, but this is not either one of those. Found 1 mid century neodymium glass mushroom IDed as Antonio Da Ros-Cenedese, but it seems better quality glass and has murrines in addition to dots.

There was an Ettore Boffo who worked for Mdina.

 

Strained my eyes looking at that signature! Definitely looks like it starts with "E." Check OBB's suggestion, too.

Bottom line, signed neodymium polka dot mushroom... What a cool find!!!

 

Thanks OBB, a good lead. I checked a number of Boffo Mdina listings, and not a one had a signature. No polka dots either.

 

One of the Boffo's is on the Mdina Facebook group. Might be worth an ask.
