    Bought this man/turtle today

    Any idea what the material is? (doesn't seem to have the usual clear resin signs)
    And the age?
    And any idea what the mark is?

    I'm pretty sure I've seen a name for this figure, but nothing is coming up from my brain or from Google. I have one somewhere - resin if I remember - different from yours and from this one:

    Image was possibly upside down, as the characters that are (now) at the top left, could be an older form ([​IMG]) of 生

    The answer I got on another site regarding the mark and material:
    ----
    弘慧　Honghui
    Honghui is a Chinese given name meaning "vast wisdom".
    The material is resin.
