I think it is what is termed Royal satsuma.Exclusively made in China, commonly these date to the 1980's. It is not actually satsuma as it is not Japanese. Japanse satsuma is exclusive to specific prefecture in south Japan. Satsuma orginated at the hands of Korean potters in the early 17th century. The Shimazu clan ( daimyo of Satsuma now Kagoshima prefecture since the 13th century ) family crest features on many Satsuma as they were the earliest patrons of satsuma ware.Chinese Royal satsuma is a kind of gimmick or knock off although some pieces are quite well painted and some also fetch a good price but mostly for the wrong reasons.

Francisco is right. This is not Japanese satsuma but much more recent Chinese and not worth a great deal.
