Featured painted or decal mini vases

    hi folks

    picked up these 2 little vases in a charity shop yesterday

    think it says trouville ? on the bases

    cant quite work out if they are decals or painted (leaning more towards decals by the general look of them)

    its not obvious, and there are variations in the pattern

    LOL, if I hadn't seen the base, I would've thought Japanese! Anyway, Trouville is a place in Normandy, France: https://www.francethisway.com/places/trouville.php
    That might be the pattern name. The impressed numbers make me think of Germany, but possible Belgium?

    Transfers with a wee bit of hand embellishment.

    we did embossed numbers as well, and also used furrin type names as pattern names.
