Featured Stone type on ring?

Turquoise? Awfully funky color if so. I thought it was at first but unsure now. Marked sterling but also marks that almost look like British hallmarks. Very worn and hard to photograph and see under loupe. Any ideas?

 

You will most certainly want to hear from someone other than me, but I'll take a shot in the dark: olivine?

Connemara makes the most sense considering the potential UK hallmarks. The lizardite is interesting though and my stone does have an odd textural look on the left portion of first pic.

 

JDag- Whatever you do,please don't warm it up & hatch another Godzilla ! I live in the States,and we don't need another one-the food bill alone !?

 

Besides, Tokyo has been attacked enough times!
