Please Help Identify These Items I Have No Clue, Pen Clips ??

Hi there, hope everyone is doing good. I picked up these pieces at a garage sale, not sure if they are brass or bronze. These things look like they were broke off something like an old pen clip or something like that. I really have no clue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to you all!!!

I'd have figured them for pieces of tie clips, but I'm an old fart whose dad wore ties to work.

 

That's what they look like to me too. But measurements would be helpful to confirm.

Hey Debora, I found it!!

 

Clever, clever you! So a "monogram attachment" for -- given 1964 date -- a ballpoint pen. Well, we certainly know a lot about the owner; he bowled, attended church and like to play sheriff(?) Here's information on the manufacturer.
