This isn't an antique, but what is it?

    I think it's a bar tool for crushing or juicing something but I'm not sure.

    A google image search produces quite a few of them, being called everything from a nutcracker to a lemon squeezer to a corn on the cob peeler. One of the nutcracker claimants states it's a QVC item.

    At least I'm not the only one who doesn't know. As far as a QVC item, there would be thousands showing up in a search if they sold it.
