help with polychrome pottery bowl

    I do not recognize that as any Native Am style.

    The shape is similar to Shipibo-Conibo bowls (from Peru), but the painted design does not look like theirs. Not sure - but a direction to look.

    Me, too. Polychrome means multi-coloured. OP's is a little redware bowl with a decorated rim in black paint. It does have an indigenous look to it, but it could also be a student or studio piece.
