Congrats Ruth.Cute piece of Cal pottery.
PS-Speaking of cute lil' critters,I've always wanted to find a box of 40's Vernon Kilns Disney pieces.

I'd rather it was a few ounces of easily convertible silver, but you take what you can get :)

Ruth's got the right idea marketing wise.If I just need a solid dependable payday, stuff a roll of Krugerrands inside that seedy, old teddy bear I just bought for a buck.
No fuss no muss-no Ebay or Etsy games.

To get to the heart of the darn matter ! Let's travel back to 1980,we're newlyweds in our 20's and an unknown distant relative dies & leaves us a quite respectable trust fund.
Alas, that would've been one thing checked off the bucket list.

Trusts are great if you don't have a crazy person as the executor. I know whereof I speak. Better to inherit the money yourself than trusting someone else.

We had a favorite relative recently inherit part of a fairly large estate-there were 15 inheritors !. Her brother was the executor, and while quite smart-was new to this kind of legal game.
It was a real cluster*** and sadly some family members will never speak to each other ever again.
If you think today's politics can divide a family-try an inheritance.
The psychic pain frequently lasts a lifetime-money changes everything.

I've heard that song before. Families going nuts over pennies while priceless family ties get the chop.
