Featured Help identifying a locket with hair lock inside, please!

    Hello! I have just purchased a locket and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about it. It's a gold tone dual locket with a lock of hair and dry flowers. Someone suggested to me that it might be a WWI locket, possibly for sweethearts.

    What do you all think? :shame:

    It looks like the dried flowers may be sprigs of heather.

    If that is true, and the person who placed them in the locket knew about their symbolism, I'd like to believe they were sending "good fortune, good health, good luck, and protection" to their loved one haha.
