    I got it from a goodwill in St.Louis, Mo
    7” tall and 10” wide

    I don't see anything particularly Israeli to me. Why do you ask? Decorative markings are not familiar to me. Basic shape is like an Asian food jar but may just be a vase. Some more pictures, including the bottom, would be helpful.

    I think the characters or calligraphic marks are supposed to look vaguely archaic Chinese characters or vaguely tribal. Not sure.
