I went on a trip to Blackpool and Lytham St Annes yesterday. Blackpool has lots of charity shops spread over miles, I found and I am still aching from walking. In St Annes I discovered an indoor market. I thought I'd go in and see if they had any antiques and they had nothing but. A large hall just full of it. A real little gem. Definitely one to visit if you are ever in the area.

Anyway, I found this in a charity shop labelled as being 'Dressen' £10. I think they meant Dresden. On googling it I found this which explains their typo.

It has a blue crossed sword mark for Meissen. Not sure if it is genuine though.

One of the handles has been broken off and glued back on.

I understand the value will be affected but I think I will still have some wiggle room.

Maybe two were donated to the shop and the other one was completely destroyed.

Yes that must be where they got their spelling lessons from.

Not Meissen. Boy, I'm being a real party-pooper today! A better pic of the mark might help, but those repro/imitation/faked crossed sword marks are everywhere!

It’s not Meissen but I think it’s antique and that mark could be identified with a better photo.
