Anyone recognize this pottery ?

    Just found this newer (???) coffee cup yesterday-3" tall by 4" across.Looks like hand-painted studio pottery,Japanese,Mexican,Pre-War California.
    Thanks for any knowledge,guesses.
    Like to find a few more pieces,but don't know where to start-any thoughts ?

    10 ounces capacity, or more? Helluva morning cuppa!

    Thanks Whit-It's got a great shape and I like the color scheme & brushwork.Studio pottery-prob never find the creator,I'll just enjoy it !

    Same w/ me AJ-the back's spontaneity is wonderful.If I had to bet,I'd guess Japanese,but ???
