Help identifying a cookbook

We had this cookbook growing up. I think my dad sold it at a garage sale (more than 20 years ago) and i found the same one but without cover at a garage sale a few blocks from our house. It is a green hardcover book. Binding is missing in mine. I am trying to identify so i can try and buy one with the cover. My dad was in the Army and bought this in the 60's. I remember we would make breads and pies from the recipes in this book. My dad has since passed and replacing would bring me great joy. Thanks all.

I am missing front and back cover. The last page of the index ends with letter "v". The condition of the book is not great

 

You're missing more than that if has no title page, table of contents, etc. Why don't you put together titles of each section and use them for an internet search? Oops. Never mind. I just did a search with one "Snacks & Appetizers: 300 Snacks, Appetizers for Entertaining" and identified your book as the Culinary Arts Institute Cookbook. Here's a copy of the 1968 Revised Edition on offer on eBay. If that's not the edition you want, you can do a search on eBay.com or the used book site abebooks.com.

Looks really comprehensive. Have never seen a cookbook with thumb tabs like a dictionary before. Are the recipes for the cuisine of any particular place?

The Culinary Arts Institute was in Chicago.

It may be this book but am not sure Culinary Arts Institute Encyclopedia Cookbook.
Mine has a red cover on it.

I had the green one. May still have it somewhere. I have about 125 cookbooks. Probably time to try selling them. LOL. I stopped collecting them about ten years ago.
