Need Help Identifying this Italian Chair

My Dad purchased this arm chair in Naples, Italy around 1972-1973. I can't seem to locate any markings or dates. Need help identifying the type, approx age, and value of this chair. It's 47" tall , 31.5" wide at the top, approx 35" from back to front, and diameter of the seat is 20.5".
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

it's not possible to assign value , without a thorough search for similar items that have recently sold..

 

Run your image through Google Lens and you will get many matches of previously sold chairs, attributed to Lio Carminati and Gio Ponti circa 1940-50s. You should be able to assess those sold prices, condition and location to get your price. Retail is not what you should expect as an individual seller.

 

Isn't that interesting? Must have been a very popular design, given how many can be found on the internet. And used by the Italian painter Carlo Mollino in his "erotic" portraits (of which, this one is quite tame.)
