Hello! I'm looking for help identifying a silver mark - head of Athena? (hardly a head of Diana - Austro-Hungary). The item is a salad spoon with a silver handle, but I can't determine what material the other part is - cataline, bone? ??Manufacturing period?Any opinion would be appreciated!

French silver mark of Minerva (Athena)... It's tough to see her helmet fully in this strike. You can see this mark on 925-1000's main page and of course their French marks page here. They've been using her since 1838 to today, so age I'll leave to members more knowledgable of the object/mark changes.
