Old metal detector magazines and catalogs about to be tossed

    I was about to toss out some old 1970s and 80s metal detecting material that was my dad's. If anyone wants them I'll send for free in the US or pay the equal towards outside the US. I'll draw names if more than one want them and toss them if no one does.:)

    There are a few White's catalogs, Pacesetter operating instructions, two National Treasure Hunters League magazines and some assorted Discover White's newsletter/magazines.

    I don't know today's market. Several years ago they were going nuts on feebay.

    Neat bunch of stuff. Look at the SIZE of that White's on the magazine (top right). I used those. Wore your arm out really quick. Modern detectors seldom go over 2-3 pds..

    I'm NOT in. I have so much old detecting ephemera I don't know what to do with it all now. My buddy has a room filled hoarder style, floor to ceiling, with treasure magazines and such, some dating to the mid sixties. Long John Latham's "Lost Treasure" was a fave. This is the guy who got me into detecting in the first place. He lent me his Whites Goldmaster (Like the one on the cover) and I went right out and found an 1872 Indian head cent semi key/key date, full liberty, 4 diamonds. My buddy happened to collect Indians and gave me a hundred bucks for it. I was hooked. That was about forty years ago. To this day we're still best friends, and he still has the penny though the White's is long gone.
