Is this table old?

    Looks like it would have had a glass pane in the top. It has claw feet. The feet are metal. 20240929_085113.jpg 20240929_085048.jpg

    My first impression, based largely on the appearance of the wood and lack of fine finish, is that it may be one of the recent imports from Asia/Indonesia copying antique European styles.

    Here is one that looks identical, described as vintage, which the seller has painted -

    Just think it has been stripped. Circa 1940, mahogany. So-called Duncan Phyfe style.

    Thanks! Would it have had tempered glass in it? Or, regular?

    Originally would have been regular glass. These days, such tables would require tempered.
