Help with age and type of print and gold application.

I found information online about the framers. They opened around 1885. It appears they closed that location around 1907/1910. Jennings moved to a different location and used his own name. Can you tell by the type face when this was made?

The angels look like a transfer on a gold background. The gold decorations on the robes appear to be hand painted. The halo's are also painted/applied on top but they are so precise, I was wondering if these were transfers applied on top of the Angels? Thank you.

 

The frame could have been made most any time in that time frame. I think the type face more modern but hard to say.

 

I know for sure it isn't modern. I just wondered if it was in the 19th c. period or the early 20th century period?

 

I meant the more modern era within the time frame given. It is an arts and crafts style font that would have been seen as avant-garde in most circles at the turn of the century. By 1910, I imagine it was a bit more mainstream. However, it could have been available earlier. This is the part I am unsure about. There is a modern font called Dyer that is very similar. It is unabashedly based on arts and crafts period fonts but I don't know if they attribute it to any particular one.

This is a font used in the Craftsman architectural years.
Approximately last of the late 1800s and to the 1930s.

Were you trying to say 9¾"? If trying to type 3/4 you can always push ALT and on the right hand number keyboard type 0190. ¼ is alt 0188 ½ is alt 0189
