Thanks Greg. Shows why I don't deal with wrought iron.
I always thought the good wrought iron stuff was powder-coated, which lasts a long time.
Nice example for sure. The heck of it is people almost have to give them away now.
Family piece here...33 inches long. Decent provenance to the 1850's from Indiana.[ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Box full of Aladdin Lox chimneys? That would be a deal.
Aladdin chimneys are easy to find. I don't have any spares at the moment here. Expect to pay $20 or so for a chimney.
Agree with walnut.
Gold hits $2000 I can retire.
Has an Eastlake vibe to me. 1880's or so.
Sorry. Bad with history here I guess. March 21, 1935 appears to be the date. Persia becomes Iran.
First one is easy. Says made in Iran so after 1949. Vintage bout not antique.
You are most welcome. I sell enough stuff that I finally gave in and got an account.
FYI Worthpoint says the 0ther item sold for $25.00 in 2007.
I agree. $350 is more than you can get for it but I have to admit having one in working order is a thing of beauty.
Man, my head was in the wrong place. My main is a Marshall JTM50 from the mid 60's. Super Lead is not that old and is a backup.
What model of Marshall do you have sabre123? My guitar amp is an old Marshall Super Lead from about 1960. Still kicks out the jams.
Welcome to the group Dave K. I also collect and restore radios. My main emphasis is on old Zenith and Philco console radios as well as old...
Found it!!! Had I looked real carefully on the underside I would have seen the very small VSL etched on the edge. Val St. Lambert it is.
Thanks. Been here long enough I should remember how to navigate things.
Sorry about that second picture.
