It's not fake. About 1830s or so, Staffordshire made. MArks on the back are where the transfer has bled through the whole plate. Blackberries.

That is indeed the post 1891 mark. Patterns were adapted and also commissioned, so it's entirely feasible this was done for the retailer.

Overlay glass is still made, so that's no help on dating. I do think these look porcelain, fwiw.
I'm thinking it may be German. There was a lot of this white bisque type stuff from there in the 70s.
