There's no way to know if it's silver from photos, you will need to have it tested. I have had filigree pieces made of non-precious silver tone metal.
If they are from the 1960s they won't be antique for another 40 or so years :)

Aluminum is a whole lot lighter than pot metal. Since tere is no iron or steel in pot metal a magnet would not stick t it.
