There was an explanation but I forget what it was, LOL. Nothing nefarious, apparently.
However, google lens came up with this British vase on Pinterest:...
Not Worcester for sure. Unusual shape and handles. IIRC, some foreign companies registered their designs in Britain, so I'll throw it into the mix...
I know nuttin about glass, but I did think it was cool. Probably sold in a garage sale.
Haven't heard of one washing up on shore recently. Kinda "eww."
That rocky looking glass vase/bowl (photo above the brown vase) looks just like one my parents had. I think 1980s -- ittalia? maybe.
IMHO 19th c somewhere! :hilarious:
Great pot -- love the etched gilt cameo, but the soft glazes are beautiful. I would say 19teens to 20s. The dragon one is akin to Wedgwood...

I I stand corrected! I still don't think it's R S Prussia.
The mark, when rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise and read vertically, looks like 織田 製, meaning "made by Oda". "Oda" is a Japanese family name....
Huh. I'm wondering if that mark is "suggesting" the Sevres crossed "L" mark. Take a look at this one:...
I think it would've been marked if it was RS Prussia. German, or in that area, Bohemia, Austria. Late 19th/early 20th c and from the quality...
