Featured 10 foot mirror

    A very wealthy client gave me a large mirror. They said the mirror is worth about $30,000.00. They were moving and the old mirror would not fit in their new house.
    It is almost ten feet tall and about 2.5 feet wide. The mirror wrapped with elaborate plaster carving that is gold like in color but not shiny. The back of the mirror seemed to have been painted my hand with some type of matailic paint.
    Please help me determine what type of mirror I have. Also a value of the piece and the best way to sell it. Thank you in advance for your wisdom.

    Sounds like a pier mirror. To be worth 30K, it would need to be something particularly special. We are going to need pictures to help further.

    It is very special I’ve never seen anything like it. Very old piece no doubt I will upload some pictures tomrrow.

    10 x 2.5 feet.....best way to sell it is in your area by local pick up...... to one of your wealthy clients friends living in a home with 12 to 15 foot ceilings...
