10K B gold & enamel pin, does it represent an organization? maker?

It's about 1" diameter.
My first thought was Balfour, but I don't know if they marked with just a "B".
Does the design represent something? Some type of organization?
The enamel is missing from areas of it, so it's probably just scrap, but I want to check first. Thanks for your time

I've done google image searches, google searches using 3 leaf clover with triangle center, etc., with no luck on finding anything similar.

Ha! I saw that green haired lady when I was searching triskelion! Had no idea what that was about till now lol.
I did watch Star Trek in the 70's but really don't remember much of it.

Tyeldom, Star Trek and all that aside, I do see similarities to this pendant, listed on Ruby Lane. Not the same, but somewhat similar (?):

A shamrock and a triskelion certainly points to Irish, and a lot of 'Irish' jewellery is made in England. But the marks on yours are not British, 10k as opposed to 10ct (older pieces). The British rarely used 10ct gold anyway, it was usually 9ct.
I think yours is North American. The blue colour of the shamrock, though very beautiful, seems odd for a piece made for Irish, wherever they live.
Blue, white, red, colours of the American flag (and the Union Jack). US Irish?
