    Hello all

This is a 14k gold brooch with unknown stones(not diamond). Theres a couple of hallmark photos, can you help with the maker or age?

Looks like HN, 585, E8. Plus the first mark, an unknown symbol inside a heart shape stamp?

Also what do you call this type of clasp?

Finnish, with the date mark E8 for 1982?
    Maker: Helge Narsakka?

Oh thats impressive. I would never have thought to look at Finland. Did something give it away?

I Googled 'E8 gold', and that gave a result with Finnish date marks :)

It is a beauty, Ratsy. Finnish jewellery always is very good quality.
The trombone clasp is usually an indication a brooch is European.

Darn. Bronwen beat me to it. I love those lacy designs with nice rocks in them. I wouldn't have thought it was that new, but Victorian Revival/homage was a thing in the 80s too.

I bought it on eBay with just the single front photo. I assumed it was Victorian too.
