Featured 17" Wide Noritake Fruit Platter: Factory Painted or After?

    Another piece of porcelain I purchased at auction (along with my other recent posts) that I couldn't pass up. This Noritake fruit platter measures almost 17 inches wide.

    Any idea who painted it?

    Would this be done at the factory or just a talented artist with a blank platter having fun?

    If you Google the image, there are many similar examples.

    Great painting! I would've been intrigued. At first I thought Otagiri, the Japanese exporter of better than average quality china giftware.
