    ***Hello Everyone!

Quick Story: My dad collected Antiques for over 50 years. As a kid, my dad had an Antiques Store. My dad is getting older and recently sold his house. The house was filled with his most precious finds: Chinese Potteries, Porcelains, Paintings, Etchings, Prints, Tobys, etc, and many many Antique and Rare Books (several are signed) some books are as old as 1600's.

My dad gave me everything. I was the only kid so he wanted me to have all of his most precious treasures. I feel blessed. I will be posting a few things on here in the next few weeks in hope of getting a few more information on certain pieces. I still have 12 boxes of Antique books that are unopened so it will take me some time but will try to post the best finds on here. ***

What I know about those pieces:
    - 19th Century Ink Well and Ink Bottles
    - These exact 4 models were found during excavations around Place Royale (Quebec)
    - Would love to hear more info on those if you know about those kind of Stoneware!

They're typical of London made bottles for a start. Many from potteries in the Lambeth area. London is built on clay and we had many factories. They did also get made up in the Potteries area of Staffordshire too. Salt glazed stoneware.

It looks like you've got some marked pieces so that's a great place to start! Do you know what they say?

I have my own tiny collection of ink bottles though am certainly nothing close to expert.

You might try looking for the flared rim bottle by using the term blacking bottle. The tall ones you might use master ink though I'm not sure either term is totally correct.

Most of the stoneware marked inks I've seen in person are British however some were produced in the US also. Your info is in French and you mention Quebec so if you're in Canada I'm not sure that I know if this type of stoneware was produced there.

Hi! Sorry I meant to answer you before but I got lost in the other threads lol.

I just took a closer look and the tallest one is in French and says "Antoine et Fils Encre Japonaise" which means "Antoine and Sons / Japanese Ink"
So I am guessing this one was from france, unless they made them in Canada back then but I doubt it?

The other one if from London (see pictures)
