1850 Coronet Head Half Eagle Copper Dollar

    Hi,

    I usually bought antique coins and others from Chinese Cemetery inBandung, Indonesia around 1990s (I don't know if it is legal or ilegal). Just realize I have this strange coin. This is 1850 Coronet Head Copper Dollar, but with the back image half eagle. As I know 1850 Coronet Head large cent back is not eagle. What do you think? Any info?

    It can be counterfeit from the 1950s era. Or is it exist this type of

    Yes an eagle at the back and Coronet head at the front. The Date is 1850 (not easy to make photo, but it is readable if you see the coin).

    Fantasy piece or forgery in copper with gold wash made to deceive.
    The last pic shows evidence of a gold colour at the top and bottom.

    That's not gold colour but soil, I used brush to clean some area, but not all because afraid it will damage the coin. Especially at the area that might be letters. But might be it is fantasy coin, I don't know..

    It won't matter if you damage the coin, it is of no numismatic value whatsoever.
