1870's armoire? German?

Anyone have any information on this piece, or potential value? I believe english made, 1870's walnut.

It's probably German from the Gründerzeit period (1880/90) the style is called Historismus in Germany (Victorian revival in England). Very nice with the original hardware.
I have a similar one, except mine is ebonized

 

sorry, but at least one pic with doors open to see the inside construction is needed. pegged ? bolted ?
till then it looks like a Biedermeier armoire possibly for clothes and/or bed linen. the compressed ball feet hint towards Southern Germany.

It has dovetail joinery in the drawer, and the upper trim section.

Not a lot I'm afraid, I'd say 150-200€ maximum in my country. But it dependes, I saw some sell for 50-70€.

 

Usually they have a small piece of paper on the back advertising the maker, is there anythibg like that to be found?

 

I haven't found any maker mark on it.

Value really depends on where you are. This might do a little better here in the US.
