1885 on way to cotton...... tintype photo

    Another interesting photo also wallet size.. on top of it says 1885 on way to cotton etc.. can't hardly make out the rest of what it says.... any one know anything about this one?. 20180710_201157_1531271681771.jpg

    They have the whole "we tough" look going on. It's another tintype, probably circa 1870-1880 based on the clothes. Beyond that...dunno.

    Nice work finding the story, ineed!
    Sorry, Virdendale, we blowed up the picture -- blowed it up real good! -- and there are no details to be discerned on front-left's ribbon beyond the circle and stripe you can see in normal view.
