1887 watercolor artist name?

    I inherited this watercolor and cannot make out the artists name to know if it has value. The frame is extremely ornate hand-carved oak or walnut with gold. The back is original and two wooden panels held in with small nails. The date by the artist says '87 but this has been in storage since the 1960's so it must be 1887. Pics for your assistance. Thanks heartily!
