18th century leather document wallet/organiser?

    Not sure if I’ve posted this in the correct section, forgive me if I have sinned ;) I would like to find out some more information on this extremely old leather docs wallet...I suppose in comparison you could say it’s an 18th/19th iPad! What I do know is not everyone would have been able to afford one of these and in all the research I’ve done it would seem that they were more often than not hand signed by the owner! I would like to establish, where possible whether it’s 18th century or 19th century because I’ve noticed that 18th century examples, in similar condition fetch good money at auction. Any guidance or useful info on this item would be very much appreciated!

    Looks manufactured in the 1930s.
