1920s Cap

    This cap belonged to my uncle who lived from 1917-1935. It's too small for my female head so guessing he was young (1920s) when it fit. Made of felt or flannel. Can't read the label except last 3 letters in bottom right rectangle look like "ICE". I've found similar called Greek Fisherman, Fiddler, Breton, Mariner's, Sailing and French Cameret.     Was this in the U.S.? Where did he go to school?

    Sorry, yes US. Lived in NY in the Bronx. I'll see if anyone left in family might know school - good suggestion. Thanks!

    I'm with Debora on this one, that is the most likely..... Now, if his Name was Mario , and there was a "M" on it , whole other story ....lol Nintendo-Mario-Costume-Hat.jpg
