1930's Art Deco brooch?

    I have this unusual geometric fan shaped brooch that I was thinking could be 1930's Art Deco era. The red portion is some kind of plastic. There are no makers marks or stamps and it measures 2.75"w x 2" h. Am I way off? IMG_4655.jpg IMG_4656.jpg IMG_4657.jpg IMG_4658.jpg

    Hm. I think that pin back is a bit later. Although the construction looks right.

    Front looks right, but the pin back looks later. Agree with Bear. Did you check the red plastic for bakelite yet?
