1945 Thomas A Edison Industries Retirement Certificate John F Peiker

    Storage find.This is framed in an old frame.1945 Thomas A Edison Industries.I believe it's a retirement certificate signed.There's many names.The one who retired is "John F Peiker".Any information on this man or any of the names.     According to the 1940 U.S. census, Peiker was born in Austria and was 59 years old in 1940. (So retired about age 64?) His wife, named Mary, was born in New Jersey. His occupation in 1940 was "foreman" in the "electrified equipment" industry. Mr. Peiker was a naturalized U.S. citizen by 1940. His highest educational grade completed was 8th grade. He was born in 1880, and the family immigrated to the U.S. when he was still a baby, in 1881. He was the eldest child in a large family.

    Anyway, this is all found in Ancestry's databases. Not sure what you wanted to know about him, but that is what I found. There is probably more information. I don't think he was well known or anything.
