Featured 19th Century Exposition Display Label for US?

    The rectangular piece measures 10" by 6 /2", the other one 4 3/4" square. They are both embossed. The rectangular one has Consolidated Lithograph Corporation Brooklyn, N.Y. printed underneath the graphic.
    I understand that these represent acquisitions that the US made during the 19th century, but what would they be used for? Might they be printer's proofs? Were they made for one of the World Expositions?
