2 ABSTRACT PAINTINGS - SAME ARTIST?

    I got these 2 paintings as part of a 12 piece deal at a local thrift store. But I have 2 problems:
    Are these signatures by the same person? The work - and signatures - look the same to me.
    Can anyone tell who the artist/artists of these is? I can't make them out.
    As always I appreciate any help.

    Lousy handwriting, but those do look like the same name to me. Gonzalez Buevedo? Buenedo?

    Could be Gerardo Gonzalez-Quevedo. This is his LinkedIn profile:

    He now describes himself as a master printer, with a business in Miami making giclee prints of other artists' work, but his BFA is in 'fine arts painting'. In 1999 he was between graduating & starting the business PrintsGicleeShop.com, so maybe tried to make it as a painter.
