2 Boats Watercolors Signed LJ? Kirsch

Not sure if the first initials are L J. Found what is described as listed( listed where?) Israeli artist LJ Kirsch here:

Though subject matter is very different, I think these may be the same artist. The color pallet and style is similar, as are the signatures.

 

Unless your Kirsch went to Hong Kong or mainland China, I don't think it's the same person. It reads more like L V to me than L J. Gut feel is decent amateur.

 

Those look like China to me too. The boats are definitely Chinese. They may have been done from postcards rather than from life.

 

Could be sort of Chinese indeed.
By the way that "listed" L.J. Kirsch painting from the link seems to be the only one that I can find.

 

I think those are VERY nice indeed.

 

By the way, are those Chinese hats? Kind of look like but not quite. Also, what do you call the small covered boats?
