2 Japanese Woodblock Prints

    IMG_9214.JPG IMG_9213.JPG IMG_9212.JPG Google images does not recognize them. One has seal marks, the othe no marks.
    Any chance we can figure out the artist?

    Did you take any pictures without your striped shirt and your hand reflection? For a couple minutes I thought the stripes were part of the art.

    It is a bit confusing. The prints are very nice though.
    The first one (with the stripes, hand and lamps;)) looks like it was designed as a fan leaf for a rigid pleated fan or handscreen:

    I don't know if these are original or some kind of reproductions. I've never seen Japanese woodblock prints on plain brown background. I thought of a fan too but still the shape is not quite right.
