Kardinalisimo, I'm sure you already know, but for others who may not recognize the man's "portrait" on the floor in the middle of your first photo it looks to me like Ernest Hemingway.

Ernest Hemingway had a home in Key West, Florida, but I cannot really tell if it is Ernest Hemingway's home in Key West.;)

Thanks. Likely Dego is the same artist.
Hemingway was the first thing that came to my mind.

Surname of first signature looks like Blair.

I would say it's definitely intended to be Hemingway's house. If for no other reason than the cat (but it also looks like it).

This is an old page with broken graphics, but I think it might be the artist, Ed Fratus, of the first piece (going by the ink sig, not the pencil).

    http://awanderingartist.com/

More info on that page, but here:
"At a French window sat one of his famous cats facing out. You can see his footprints leading away from the ink he spilled.

As though a ghost, Hemingway's face is reflected in the ink. I was feeling special to have free rein to roam the room. After drawing the room with 5 different width pens I still felt him with me."
