    hi folks

these were 2 bits i picked up from the same boot seller as the jade plant

seem quite old to me in hand, but don't know if they are old or just rustically made

i like the white one more for being old i think

the dark one i wasn't so sure about, but thought the damage to the rim looked old/worn damage

    any thoughts or info appreciated

i'll leave it with you, off to get a bit of sun today

hoping to go from a pale blue to a light salmon ;):playful::):woot:

The second one has a very similar shape to Chinese pottery wine bottles. At least that's what I was told by Chitong -- an ebayer from the old ebay boards. He also told me the Chinese name which was something quite long and starts with a "y," LOL! They are utilitarian ware and have been made for yonks which is why it's nigh on impossible to date. Here's an ebay one to show the shape (and 18th c is a guess IMHO): https://www.ebay.ca/itm/224194878090

Could be, but I was thinking maybe Sawankhalok or Sukhothai, Thai ceramics of ca 13th-16th century

That colour clay was also used, among others.
