2 Pieces of signed pottery, 1 Japanese, help ID!

Hello everyone!

I recently picked up two interesting pieces of pottery, and I'm looking to find out who the makers are. I know most pottery signed pottery pieces are worthless, but these ones seemed unique to me. One piece has a neat scale-like design, which is sharp and intricate, and it's signed with what looks like "c I d." The one with a Japanese signature has a certain kind of glaze, but I forget what it is called, if anyone knows please let me know! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
