    hi folks

found these 2 pretties in the same chazza today. both on the smaller side

the paintwork on the tortoise colour one looks bohemian though never seen one in this colour glass before

the lipstick pink (as i'm calling it) seems a nicer quality but couldn't really have a guess on it. the decoration is painted as well i think

no marks i've found on either piece

    any thoughts or info appreciated

Probably both bohemian/czech, I think the second one is probably by Welz.

Another note...the pink/opaline one is probably late 19th and the second one early 20th.

just noticed a bit of paint damage from the first pic, should be easy to touch up though as on top

looking at the top of the pink one, ya reckon could have been a scent bottle, kinda looks closed in like a stopper would have fit ?

I think just a very pretty vase. Perfect vase shape imo.

The neck flares out a bit. Not the best neck for a stopper, but very elegant.

And yet another note, although I do think the pink one is probably Bohemian/Czech - this style of vase from this period was also made in other countries - I wouldn't rule out French or Italian, with that decoration - or even English. I am by no means any kind of expert so just thought I should mention :) The second one though I'd be surprised if it wasn't Welz.
