2 UNKNOWN PAINTINGS - THOUGHTS?

I found these at a estate sale last week end; the owner didn't know anything about them except the flamenco(? dancers were supposed to be from the 1920's. It is a oil on board & has a small signature that is impossible to read.
The 2nd painting is unsigned.
Thoughts?

The Flamenco dancers are wearing the costume of Madrid, that is all I can say. Madrid has a skirt that is tight around the legs, and the men often wear a cap. Southern Spanish skirts are wide, much nicer, and fun to work with. They are more part of the expression of the dance:

 

In viewing your Flamenco Dancers signature, it's near impossible to figure that out, but it looks like there is lighter writing above that.....although still unclear...."SPR....? looks like you still have 2 mysteries..!!
