24k vintage Hoffmann porcelain cup and saucer- Rehau West Germany

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure on the date that this lovely little cup and saucer would have been made.

I might be totally wrong but i was under the impression that it could be 50s?

Any ideas, and any ideas on its value?

West Germany marks could date from the 1950's through the 1980's. The value would be decorative rather than collectible. In the US I would price it at about $10-$12 and it could be some time before it would sell. For awhile around the late 1990's - early 2000's it was a trend to have tea parties with mismatched cup and saucer sets. Anyway, the guests would take home the cup and saucer that they used. That put a little life into the tea cup and saucer market but once the trend passed the values fell off again.
