Looking for information on this old table that originated from wales

 

Doesn't look very tall. Are you sure this isn't a stool?

Looks a lot like the early 20th c. pieces made in Europe of earlier styles of furniture.

 

What is the distance from the floor to the top surface?

 

Yep, i think it is a stool as well, guesses revival 16th-17th century piece when bobbin turned legs/stretchers were very popular in the UK.

LOL, Well, you know, no reason you couldn't use it as a small table/plant stand, etc but, i'd say the form is, stool.

 

i don't think my butt would be comfy sitting on that for any length of time..

a plant would , though...

No, not really. 22 inches high is about right for a stool, they sit higher than a chair.
