I found these 3 glass bowls at my lock-up today, I don't know where they came from, but I must have thought they were important to store them away.

I just need confirmation that they are American Carnival glass and possibly dating them please.

    3 photographs of each item.

    Thankyou @TallCakes
Very informative, I have some studying to do.
I suppose these will be residing in one of my display cabinets from now on.

The second one has water staining or limescale above the pattern.
It might have had a plant stood in water inside it.

I'm soaking it in white vinegar as I type.

The third one looks more modern, called iridized glass as opposed to carnival glass. Probably 1950s-60s.

The other two are nice old pieces :)

The green glass on the base would definitely suggest Fenton I think.

Also, the back pattern is Basketweave which was Fenton's.

The Peacock bowl is your best, most valuable piece, the Grape and Cable bowl is OK but doesn't bring much money in the US (too many made) but is worth holding or selling, not throwing away. The last bowl is Meh. In the US they don't sell, or might sell for $1.

I noticed on Doty's web site that the emerald green version of Peacock and Urn is quite sought after. But he makes a distinction between Green and Emerald Green. The emerald green version brings slightly more money than the green, but someone would have to tell me which green version it is.

Cool info. Never realised there were two types of green. I found the peacock bowl on a market stall and was reluctant to buy. Most carnival glass I've bought has struggled. I bought it though and there was a lot of interest.
