39" cast iron figure, its old any idea as to maker?

    The "third eye" bolt through her forehead seems a little odd.

    And you wouldn't want to put her outside where rain could easily get inside the multiple part casting. The structure would suggest there were molds made for casting multiples of her.

    Not really,she needed something to hold the bun to the back of her head.

    I understand the function. It just seems like a less than esthetic solution. :)

    Id think it was a gas light fixture of some sort. Maybe a cigar lighter or the like.

    Looks like something that you can open (if you wanted to) With that bolt and the nut in the bun and screw on her back. Can the bun not turn? Also 39 inches? Is that correct? Doesn’t look that big to me.. Anyway that’s rather large (almost a metre) the size makes me think garden statue/ornament. But yes,what about water/rain.
